Why this exists.
Unprotected left turns account for a disproportionate share of urban traffic crashes. UPS famously eliminated them from delivery routes decades ago because the math is overwhelming: a right turn is fast, predictable, and doesn't require you to guess. Protected Left brings that same logic to everyday driving.
